Mace tells AOC 'I deal in facts. Unlike you, apparently.', then fundraises off the feud
On February 4, 2021, Mace attacked AOC's credibility over her January 6 account on Twitter, then sent a fundraising email the same day using the same line as a solicitation.
On February 4, 2021, Mace posted on X attacking AOC's account of her January 6 experience:
"I deal in facts. Unlike you, apparently."
The same day, Mace sent a fundraising email reading "Unlike AOC, I deal in facts, not fiction" with a solicitation to "chip in today to help me spread the word," drawing criticism for monetizing her challenge to a colleague's trauma account.
