On September 10, 2025, during House floor debate on a defense bill, Mace shouted at Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA):
"What the hell is your problem? You are disgusting. You are an insult."
Following the floor clash, Mace posted on X:
"PS, I have a good surgeon if you ever want to get your nose done."
The floor confrontation and subsequent social-media post were widely reported and drew criticism from members of both parties.
