Mace tells CNN's Dana Bash: 'we cannot be assholes to women'
In a September 3, 2023 CNN interview with Dana Bash, Mace said Republicans must change their approach to abortion policy, using an expletive to make the point.

On September 3, 2023, in an interview with CNN's Dana Bash, Mace said:
"I'm pro-life. I have a fantastic pro-life voting record, but I also understand that we cannot be assholes to women."
The remark came as Mace argued that Republicans needed to soften their messaging on abortion to remain competitive in swing districts and states.
