"Hold the Waffle"
After Rep. Nancy Mace posted a branded "Hold the Line" graphic, Mar (@Mardabadguy) answered with a "Hold the Waffle" edit that swapped the Capitol backdrop for Waffle House, tying Mace's tough-on-accountability slogan back to her long-running Waffle House biography.

On July 2, 2026, Rep. Nancy Mace posted an official campaign-style graphic reading "HOLD THE LINE" with her profile in front of the U.S. Capitol. The text of the post said: "Hold the Line. We've never backed down from a fight when it comes to justice, accountability and the good of the American people."
Seventeen minutes later, Mar (@Mardabadguy) replied with a visual edit: the same pose and typography, but the slogan now read "HOLD THE WAFFLE" and the Capitol backdrop was replaced with a Waffle House.
The joke lands because Mace has repeatedly used her biography as a former Waffle House waitress as part of her political brand. This is the same lane as the earlier "Welcome back, Nancy Mace" meme: public mockery turning Mace's own origin story back onto her after the governor-race collapse.
